Class 10 Board Exam Revision Plan for Maths and Science: The Last 90 Days
GyanSanchar · 3 Nov 2026

Three months is enough to do well in the boards, if you use it with a plan. Here is a simple three-phase approach for Mathematics and Science, which works for both CBSE and ICSE.
Phase 1 (days 1 to 30): Finish and fix
Complete any chapters that are still pending.
Make a list of weak chapters in each subject.
Revise formulas, equations and definitions, and write them on a single sheet per chapter.
Take a short test on each chapter you revise.
Phase 2 (days 31 to 60): Practice
Solve previous years' papers and sample papers, one every few days.
Practice every question type: short, long, case-based and diagram-based.
Check each paper against the marking scheme and keep an error log.
Spend extra time on your weak chapters, in short daily blocks.
Phase 3 (days 61 to 90): Polish
Take a full paper in exam timing every second or third day.
Revise your error log and one-page chapter notes.
Practice diagrams, equations and constructions until they are neat and quick.
Fix your sleep and meal routine to match exam timings.
Sample week in Phase 2
Day | Plan |
|---|---|
Mon to Wed | Two chapters of revision per day (Maths and Science) |
Thursday | Practise questions from weak chapters |
Friday | Revise formulas and equations |
Saturday | One full paper in exam timing |
Sunday | Check the paper, update the error log and rest |
The last week
Light revision from notes and the error log, not new topics.
Pack your stationery and admit card the day before.
Sleep early and eat regularly.
If you are behind
Do not panic. Prioritize chapters with the most marks and the ones you find easiest, and cover those well. Ask a teacher or mentor to help you plan.
